CPG is proud to have successfully partnered with the AARP Pennsylvania and the York County Economic Alliance in holding our Shred Fest event on Saturday, April 30th 2016. Over 600 York County families participated in the Shred Fest at our York, PA plant where they were able to rid themselves of unwanted paper waste and at the same time protect themselves from identity theft and fraud. The number of participants was almost triple the number of our previous shredding event in the fall of 2015. CPG made our facilities available at no charge and shredded nearly 19 tons of material, saving participants over $36,000 in commercial shredding fees. Additionally, participants collected over 2100 pounds of food for donation to the York County Food Bank. We’d like to congratulate and thank our partners and the York County community for such a remarkably successful event!
